My name is Melody. I grew up on stage singing with my family as a southern gospel group that traveled. I began playing bass at the age of 9 with the family group and another male quartet.
Years have gone by - kids, family life etc and I have not performed in over 15 years. Looking to step back onto the stage in some capacity.
Looking for musicians or band to join either performing or for fun. Vocally I have a large range but prefer alto register for long durations.
Can cover the Carpenters, Alanis, Billy Joel, Melissa Etheridge as examples of a few favorites.
I sing harmonies, and self taught some piano, bass, and acoustic guitar.
Also open to collaboration writing/singing originals.
