Interested in getting together with others who, like me, are relatively new musicians and would like some practice partners. 30% having fun, 60% a real desire to increase my playing standard ...leaving 10% hope that I'll be good enough to join a real band one day.
I self-learned as a 16/17 yr old teenager in a shoe box sized bedroom no music theory, no-one to show me anything, and did "kinda" OK but never got "really good" so to say. Never could read music, evrything by ear. 30 years later, I'm picking up a guitar again (since Sep 2009) and finding it is now a burning passion. I'm much better able to learn new things now, and do make the time to do so. ....wonder why..???

Influences
Musically I'm a child of the 70s, 80s & 90s; ...so no surprise that being born and raised in the UK, the Beatles, Bowie, Bolan, ELO, 10cc, Queen, Who, Zepp, Nazareth, Quo, Def Leppard, other contemporary pop/rock bands of the last 40years are my influences.
