Would like to meet keyboard (electronic/alt and/or piano), bass player (electric and/or upright) and drummer or drum/percussion programmer to help each others projects. I'd like to find some like (musically) minded people to jam and record with. It's only a hobby and I hesitated to select "Moderately committed" in my profile, but did so because of the level of quality I commit myself to. I'm not much interested in playing cover material and really just want to do original material. Not looking to form a band but interested in co-writing.
I'm an audiophile since birth and have some formal studio engineering and a dozen carefully selected mics I'm dying to put to use on a drum kit. I'm meticulous at putting together recording projects, but pretty "green" as I've only done a couple so far and that was 10 years ago. I've just got new recording gear up and running and ready to start, more excited about it and guitar, than ever!. I've got a nice collection of guitars and pickups to get any and every guitar sound you've every heard.
Fiver will be a good resource as well, but like the idea of making music friends as much as making music. I'm pretty darn decent at rhythm guitar but suck at lead. I like to play a wide variety of chords, genres, sounds and energy levels. I like it clean and I like it dirty and I know that rough around the edges done the right can be as interesting as something that sounds perfect, but I'm looking for musicians that share same commitment to high level of sound and final result quality.
I'd like to have some professional sounding recorded songs that I've written and/or played on, to listen to and pass around.
