I Have been singing since she could speak. Laurel had the privilege to study voice with the amazing Jazz vocalist Cheryl Hodge https://www.cherylhodge.com/ at Selkirk Music School. She has fronted band such as Groove Candy, Exession, Liquid Sky and Beyond Control and recently LuLu & The Funaddicts and Poets & Saints.
She has sung in many venues from coast to coast, has opened up for such bands as 54/40, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Lillix and sung back ups for Kenny Blues Boss Wayne.

Laurel a singer /songwriter who is a power house with a sultry smooth edge, singing Rock , Blues, Jazz, RnB, Soul and Country styles that helps her colour outside of the lines in music.

Laurel has studio and live vocal recording experience, lead and background singing.
She is also a vocal instructor who teaches both private lessons ad choirs for children and adults. Directed local community musicals taking beloved stories and turning into rock/ pop hilarious shows for families to take part in and enjoy.
