New wave/rock cover band looking for a versatile keyboard player with solid chops, a keen sense for complementing the collective effort and a willingness to experiment.
Our growing set list of ~20 songs encompasses everything from Modern English to The Cult, Talking Heads to The Fixx with the occasional Steely Dan and Doobies tune thrown in for fun.
We’re not in this to make money, but more for the comraderie and fun factor involved in working together to get out to play whenever and wherever it makes sense.
We’re dedicated musical hobbyists who enjoy pushing ourselves to become above average musicians, and the lessons we learn as we record and mix ourselves (as you’ll hear on the demos) keeps us humble.
There are no rock stars here. Everyone has creative input and personal chemistry is important- we’re all 50+ professionals, enjoy a pint and a laugh during practice while keeping focused on tempo, tone, balance and volume.
We currently have drums, bass and guitar in place, plus vocalists waiting in the wings for auditions. We practice in the Westboro area and try to get together once a week, usually on weekday evenings, but there might be the odd weekend.
