I am a guitarist 26 with pro gear good attitude and have willingness to keep learning and playing solid to make money but mostly have fun performing. Our cover band has learned about 30 songs so far but it has been taking too long to play shows since the drummer wants to be a singer as well. I do not like the idea of a front man as a drummer sure its more money for the band but not as much fun live. I am looking for a new opportunity with 2 new members. Close to around my age I am looking to make this a 4 piece gig. What I am looking for is a drummer and vocalist. Our current set list includes Red hot chilli peppers, Kings of leon, Soundgarden, foo fighters, Franz ferdinand, incubus, Rage, Tool, Nirvana, Greenday, Alice in Chains, Deftones, Smashing pumpkins, Sum 41, System of a Down, Velvet revolver, Queens of the stone age, Weezer, Tragically hip, Blur, Matthew good band, Chevelle, Big wreck, Three days grace. We are also going to be learning more material including some classics and some more modern stuff as well. I have some places lined up that would be great for shows to start. I also have a lot of friends that will love to get out support us and have fun at these shows. Summer is around the corner if you are up for a challenge and an opportunity then this is for you. I have a jam space in Brampton that we play at but I am willing to start a new space wherever since I will be driving shortly. Influences
Try not to put a limit to what we are influenced by. We tend to stick with rock/heavy rock some pop and most of the material is considered popular we pick popular bands to play and usually play there most popular songs.
Members Of Band
Eventually with gigs we will be working on tracking second guitar parts and keys for backing tracks to be played with the show. So the drummer will also have a click to go by. So I am the only guitarist. We also have a bassist.
EQUIPMENT
I've got lots of gear but for our shows I will only bring one 4x12 with my 100 watt amp that covers all our material very well. This will be going stereo through the p.a. amps are bogner 20th anniversary xtc and effects are with a G system.
