We are Kokoro, a Visual Kei Punk Rock band from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. We are currently working on our first studio EP recording after spending much of our time perusing our music as separate musicians and occasional jam sessions and small gigs.
We as a band aspire to bring the Visual Kei element and blend it with North American Punk and Emo styles and perform amazing concerts for fans and lovers of live music.

I am Ashlie, or preferably by my stage name 'Stitches'
(Madam Stitches for long). I am the bands lead, holding place as the bands lead clean vocalist, melodic guitarist, primary song writer, and bands overall designer and manager.
Some background info on myself - I am a long time musician with multiple years experience playing Guitar, Bass and Drums in many genres including blues, punk, rock, and post hardcore. I also have a decent amount of experience as a rock vocalist having sung in two prior bands, once as a bassist and another as a drummer.
Right now we are looking for a Drummer and a Bassist who are interested in a committed place in a band seeking to professionally record and perform live. To fill the spots I need someone who isn't stage shy and can carry lots of stage presence and isn't afraid to go all out with nothing held back when performing live. Though we need a bassist as well it is critically important that we find a drummer ASAP as we are planing to debut our EP at the Markham "Battle of the Bands" competition and hopefully win. I also have connections to some influential people in the music industry to help with the goal that after Battle of the Bands, I would like to see us do a professional studio level re-mastering of the EP and add in more songs to create our first professional studio album.
