Hey I'm Julia,
I'm looking to join or start a band in London. I sing and play keyboard. Looking to start or join a band that plays alternative rock, indie rock, dream pop, and/or shoegaze. I would also be happy joining an indie-folk band - sort of like Bright Eyes. Jamming is great too - I would like the practice. I listen to bands including slowdive, MBV, Yo La Tengo, Alex G, The Magnetic Fields, Soko, Elliott Smith, The Clientele, and The Unicorns.
I think we would need a guitar player, a bass player, and someone on drums. I might need help with song writing - I can come up with some lyrics, but I have a hard time putting them to a melody sometimes. I can read and write sheet music.
