ABOUT

Hi, I’m John Davidson. Music has always been a huge part of my life, especially singing, it’s where I feel most expressive and connected. I’m a musician with a strong passion for creating and performing, and I’m always looking to grow both creatively and personally.

I’m currently hoping to connect with like-minded musicians here in Edmonton, Alberta who share that same drive and love for music. Whether it’s jamming, writing original songs, or building something bigger as a band, I’m excited about collaborating and seeing where the journey leads.

Influences

One of my biggest inspirations in music is Layne Staley, the iconic voice behind Alice in Chains. His raw emotion, haunting tone, and ability to channel deep feeling into every note have had a lasting impact on how I approach singing and creating music. There’s an authenticity in his style that goes beyond technique it’s about honesty, vulnerability, and telling a story that truly connects with people.

As I continue developing my own sound as both a singer and producer, I draw a lot from that same spirit. Layne’s influence pushes me to be real in my music, to embrace emotion, and to create something that resonates on a deeper level rather than just sounding good on the surface.
