ABOUT

I am hoping to find people to jam with. I would consider myself at the intermediate level, and still have a lot to build on. In the past I have really enjoyed playing with other people and find that doing so, helps to improve and learn.
I've written my own instrumental pieces under the name "John's Garage" which you can find on all streaming platforms and Apple Music. (I simply use DistroKid) I am looking to maybe expand these musical ideas into something more. I think some composition could have lyrics added to them. I would also like to maybe get to the point where I could play live, having never really done that, except for friends. If you give one of my tunes a listen and are inspired to write lyrics and perhaps sing, that would be a great next step.
I am also hoping to join a group of musicians that either does play or hopes to play live someday. I think this would be a cool progression. I have the time to dedicate to learning songs for a set, and believe I have the equipment as well.
Thanks for taking the time to read this far. I am discovering that finding musicians to play with rather harder than I expected.

Stratocaster, PRS, Les Paul, Telecasters, Jazz Bass and an acoustic. Spark 40 for messing around but also have a Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb for warmth and volume. Boss effects pedals.
