I'm a 55 yr old bass player seeking a band focused on playing primarily cover songs. I'm a self taught electric bass player (finger style) who learns & plays by ear alone. I just recently left an all-original 6 piece roots/folk/acoustic band and am now looking to play popular cover songs people want to hear. I'm initially just looking for a group of like-minded mature players (30+ yrs of age) based within an hours drive looking to play for fun 2-4 days a month. Playing live gigs would be welcomed. Not interested in Christian faith type bands, Heavy Metal, Rap, Jazz or most Southern Country. Alt-Country Roots Folk Americana Rock-Funk or Classic Pop however is where my heart lies.
