Hey there,
Friends call me J...I play E-BLUES with MIDI controllers...the secret sauce in the mix and experiment with everything...deeply into original music production.
Do you have a corner of your room that looks more like a mission control center for sound? Does your idea of a perfect Saturday involve patching cables, designing the perfect bass wave, or getting lost in a labyrinth of your own loops?
If you nodded yes, then read on, because you're exactly who we're looking for!
I’m trying to get a group together—a club, a collective, a sonic workshop, whatever we want to call it—for people who speak the language of oscillators, MIDI, and DAWs. This isn't about finding bandmates for a specific genre (though that could happen!). It's about geeking out over gear, sharing knowledge, and most importantly, playing together in the moment.
Imagine this: A room full of synths, drum machines, loop stations, pedals, and laptops. We set up, we plug in, and we just… see what happens. Maybe we build a sprawling ambient soundscape. Maybe we lock into a filthy techno groove. Maybe it turns into a glitch-hop masterpiece. The point is to experiment, collaborate, and push each other creatively.
Who should reply?
Synthesizer Enthusiasts: From vintage analogues to modern modular monsters. Let's talk filter sweeps!
Gear Heads: You know your TR-808 from your TR-909 and love showing others why your favorite delay pedal is the best.
Loop Artists & One-Person Bands: Masters of layering and building tracks live.
DAW Wizards & Producers: You might work in the box, but you love the energy of live creation.
Curious Beginners: If you just got your first MIDI controller and are eager to learn, come join! We're all about sharing the love.
No ego, no pressure, just good vibrations (and maybe some weird ones, too).
The plan is to find a regular time (maybe bi-weekly?) to meet up, jam, talk shop, and maybe even eventually share what we create with the world.
If this sounds like your kind of fun, shoot me an email! Tell me a little about:
What kind of setup you rock.
What kind of sounds you love to make (or want to learn to make).
Your favorite piece of gear (or the one on your wishlist!).
Let's see if we can conjure up some magic, one patch cable at a time.
Looking forward to jamming with you, J.

P.S. Even if you're not sure but are mildly curious, reach out! The best communities are built by a mix of experts and newcomers. Let's build something cool together.
