Influences

My influences are kind of all over the place—in a good way. I’ve always been drawn to great songs, no matter the era. I love the groove and feel of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the songwriting of The Beatles and The Eagles, and the raw energy from bands like The Rolling Stones, Soundgarden, and Audioslave. Aerosmith has always been a big one for me too. I’m into newer stuff as well—like The Sheepdogs. Honestly, I just like anything with a great feel… the list could go on forever.

EQUIPMENT

My go-to basses include an American Fender Jazz 4 String and a Mexican Fender P 4 String. I turn to my Jackson X Series Concert Bass CBXNT 5 sometimes. Whether it's through a solid amp rig or a clean, amp-less setup, I can adapt to any performance or studio environment. I also keep a Gibson acoustic guitar on hand.
