Hello there, my name is Joe and I am one of the many local talented performers here in the Ottawa area. I have been a professional musician for over 25 years and have toured with acts such as Tempest, Tokyo Rose and Sweet Rock All.
As well as performing live, I have also had involvement in several studio productions doing commercials for companies such as Air Canada, Carlsberg Breweries, CP Air, the Canadian Space Agency, 54 Rock Radio, along with a few others.
My easy listening repertoire consists of many classic rock artists such as Pink Floyd, Eagles, Supertramp, Styx, various 80's tracks and the like. The show is mellow, yet vibrant enough to satisfy even the most difficult critic.
Presently appearing under the pseudonym Jay Edward, I strive to provide that my greatest effort for every show is executed. The music combined with professionalism and showmanship ensure my audiences are as pleased as I can make them.
This years' show embraces a different parameter of live production. Using phase cancelled audio, digital sequencing and other DAW techniques, I will be using backing tracks which will implement a FULL BAND sound without having the issues that sometimes are encountered in the "band" drama. I simply do not have any time or patience for that atmosphere. However, I do very much enjoy sharing the spotlight and stage with another performer.
I would like to have a percussionist with vocal capability for background singing. Preferably, no sticks....simply a mobile setup using bongos/cajon, block, shaker, tambourine, etc. A unidirectional microphone and stand would be a plus.
