Vocals and drums are absent. The majority of the song is on guitar, while the rhythm is on repeat. I did add a bass line, but I used my electric guitar. The idea was that the bass and electric guitars would share the spotlight and not overpower each other. Adding transitions would make the song more interesting, with spaces in between for vocals. Like tossing the ball back and forth. To make the music mesmerizing and add suspense, I wanted the drums to have a manic-tribal feel. This would pair perfectly with the rythum to make a hypnotic, catchy sound. I already know what I want; I just don't want to create the drumbeat on Ableton. It's time-consuming and unnatural-sounding. Overall, the song would be gritty with depth. There is raw truth and meaning in every word. Note: This is just one of my serious songs. I have others that are more upbeat and have a fast pace.
