Jacob Snow is a dynamic Canadian vocalist, multi instrumentalist, starting his career as the electrifying frontman for genre blending band Gorilla Tophat, now fronting the new Northern Ontario sensation Pressure Event. Known for his remarkable vocal range and chameleon like adaptability, Snow seamlessly shifts from soaring falsettos to gritty hark rock belts and smooth soulful jazz tones.
Since Gorilla Tophat's explosive debut in 2016, Snow has led the band through a series of bold and critically praised releases, inclluding albums in 2019 and 2022. Their boundary pushing sound and energetic performances have earned them multiple award nominations, notably two nods at the Independent Music Awards in New York, and a personal nomination for Snow as Best Jazz Vocalist at the Toronto Independent Music Awards.
