SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.
Retired now so I actually have some real time to play music and try to get reasonably good at it. Have played and still play (less frequently) with a great group of guys on the coast for the last 17 years. We did some gigs and our own recording including some original music. I would look forward to joining in with local easy going mature music lovers for jams and what ever comes. I've played mainly bass guitar but more recently I've been enjoying making up my own tunes on an acoustic/electric guitar. I use Cakewalk by Bandlab to help me develop & record my own stuff and am helping other local guys (L.Q.D. of West Kelowna) mix & master their tracks. I've completed my first album One Layer Down and am putting the finishing touches to my 2nd album soon to be released where I play all the instruments. You can hear a selection of tunes from both albums below. Look forward to many more musical collaborations!

Tumble Weed Year: 2021 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
A tune about just meandering along with short gleeful flights of familiar fancy then long waiting around before any much happens!
And I Cry Out
And I Cry Out Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
Tried to get the lead to scream a bit in a mournful way using the wah wah pedal... took a bit a practice!
Rounded Edges Year: 2021 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
Kind of a laid back tune... dreaming of bright sunshine and summer weather. Trying to escape all this stuff thats been going on!
A Stark Reminder
A Stark Reminder Year: 2020 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
A version of the 12 bar blues on my Tele. Great fun to arrange & play adding in the Rhodes keyboard and precision bass.
For The One
For The One Year: 2020 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
In the key of F for a change. A Major key so up beat. Brushed off my synth as well with the Rhodes sound.
Chomping At The Bit
Chomping At The Bit Year: 2020 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
Lots of fun recording with my new Tele. Kind of got that cowboy style twang? Or at least its a riding kinda tune so named it "Chomping At The Bit". Which is how I feel after being locked down... just gotta get with people and nature!
Nothing But Trouble
Nothing But Trouble Track number: 12 Year: 2020 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
Nothing But Troubled times in paradise. But things will get better... 1st tune done in a while but really easy to put together. Added in my new Tele and $15 (made in Vietnam) jewsharp for good measure. Bit country sounding in a way.
Hip to Hip
Hip to Hip Year: 2019 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
Started playing around with different tunings on the guitar and settled on DADGAD that resulted in this tune. Like the open string sound.
Gliding In My Lucid Dream
Gliding In My Lucid Dream Year: 2019 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
Reminds me of my lucid dreaming days after intense meditation sessions. I would fly around the room but be asleep.
Is There Anybody Out There
Is There Anybody Out There Year: 2019 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
Reminds me of the Tesla car launched into space looking for some love! Used a B diminished chord in this tune... think it has an interesting effect.
Life's Chill Year: 2019 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
Key of A... a very interesting key to play in with all the 3 sharps. Makes for efficiency when playing from one string to another. I like the harmony between G#m & C#m & D. Liked those 9th chords a lot.
No It's Your Turn
No It's Your Turn Year: 2019 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
We Canadians are so polite... no it's your turn?
Hi Stepp'n Boogie
Hi Stepp'n Boogie Year: 2019 Album: Contemplative Mr Wigglesbee Genre: Alternative
Night on the town?
Getting Close Track number: 3 Year: 2018 Album: One Layer Down Genre: Alternative
Decided one day to D tune my guitar but didn't like how low it sounded so came up a half tone then made this up. Its just laid back.
My Wide Brimmed Hat
My Wide Brimmed Hat Track number: 7 Year: 2018 Album: One Layer Down Genre: Alternative
This is a redo of a previous song I wasn't happy with. I redid the lead and other guitar work as well as added key boards.
Still Track number: 8 Year: 2018 Album: One Layer Down Genre: Alternative
Experimented with using a lot of feedback to get the guitar parts played over the main lead. The lead was developed after buying a new guitar. Got some help using Cakewalks session MIDI drummer on the drum parts.
