Experienced and capable guitarist/keyboard/vocalist/keytar player looking for a working group.
Not into jam/basement bands, want to play for audiences!

Ideally...I'm looking for a PTBO area group to join and play guitar (lead or rhythm) and keyboards, and share lead and harmony vocals.
Some background: I’ve played professionally and semi-professionally since my teens, toured with Gaslight in the 1970’s, and since then have worked with a number of groups and recording projects. AFM/CFM member, so I can do union gigs when required. CARAS member and JUNO award judge for 2023 (Adult Contemporary Album of the Year). Recording credits include writing, producing and playing guitar & keyboards on Trollie’s 1986 album, “Cruisin’”, and lead vocals/guitar on Major Hoople's last single "Sunnyside" (2012). For much of the last decade I was a member of Major Hoople's Boarding House.

Classic Rock, folk-rock, pop. Influences...the 60's, especially San Francisco era (Byrds, Doors, Airplane, etc) '70's rock, R&B, disco, 80's synth pop & funk . Also love lounge...Martin/Denny/Les Baxter/Esquivel fan!
Open to modern stuff too...Capital Cities, Magdalena Bay, Wild Child, Tame Impala, L'Imperatrice...
Note: not a "new country" guy...sorry (but definitely a fan of traditional country).

EQUIPMENT

Typically I play Rickenbacker guitars (330 & 620-12 string electric) with Fender or Vox amps. In the profile pic, I am playing an Ibanez synth guitar with Roland GR55 guitar synth. On keys, I use a Nord Electro 6, Roland AX-Edge keytar & QSC amps. I have various other guitars & amps to fit a variety of styles & venues.
