[About Me]
Hello fellow rockers! My name is Sofija and I'm a committed and enthusiastic bass player with almost 20 years experience. I'm looking for a band to join.

[Background]
I am self-taught multiinstrumentalist. I can play guitar, bass, drums, piano, keyboard, kalimba, ukelele, and harmonica, as well as sing basic backup vocals and harmonies.

[Playing Music - I]
While I love all musical instruments, I feel that bass guitar is my true calling. It's been my main focus over the last two decades and the instrument I'm most passionate about.

[Playing Music - II]
I'm also a pretty good rhythm guitarist too, but bassists are often in short supply, so I prefer to fill the bass role in a band if I have my choice. But I don't mind switching once in a while and playing rhythm or drums. I like to be flexible and I try to do what's best overall for the band.

[Writing Music - I]
I have a large catalog of both finished and unfinished songs that I've composed over the last two decades. I've dabbled in almost every genre there is, but I definitely lean towards rock and metal. I'm always happy to learn songs that you either wrote or enjoy covering, and if you ever take an interest in one of my songs I'd be happy to teach you how they're played.

[Writing Music - II]
I was probably one the earliest members of UG.com that permanently ditched Notepad.txt tabs for the far superior Arobas' GuitarPro.gp tabs. GP quickly became my main tool, both for correcting mistakes I found in other people's tabs on UG.com, as well as my main tool for writing/tabbing my own songs.
I've been composing with GP since I was a teenager, and I'm pretty skilled with all its features and parameters. I've also followed all the upgrades over the years, So I have a full license of GP8.

[Recording - I]
I have a fully paid & licensed version of Reaper (DAW) for Windows 11. As well as the Behringer U-Phoria UM2, an ultra-compact 2 x 2, 48 kHz USB interface with a studio-grade XENYX Mic Preamp, combination XLR/ TRS input for your vocal or line input and an additional ¼" Instrument Input (no DI box required).

[Recording - II]
Including the plethora of pre-installed plugins that Reaper came with, I also purchased several premium plugins from Neural DSP, including:
