I am currently a part of Parno Drom, a Roma gypsy music group, regularly performing in local venues and festivals. I also have collaborated with world class musicians in concert series such as MuseWest and Banff Arts Festival.
I have been professionally trained at the Vancouver Academy of Music from famed violin pedagogue Gwen Thompson and received the highest honor as winner of the strings division from the BC Festival of Arts. I also achieved 95% on my ARCT performance exam.
I’d be delighted to try all genres of music.
And yes, I can improvise a bit given some notes and chord progressions (and even by ear).
