I always liked to sing, but started studying classical voice seriously in high school. I was part of an all girls classical vocal ensemble called Candesca at the same time as taking private lessons and developing my Mezzo-Soprano voice. My university education made it too difficult to keep going with all this, but I still tried to keep involved in singing. I performed with the UBC Jazz Club in Vancouver when I attended there and have been singing at some open mic nights here in Kelowna over the past year. I'm just looking for opportunities to meet other musicians and experiment with different styles.
