Influences

Main influences in getting my chops as a Bassist were 70's Classic and Progressive Rock plus Jazz Fusion.

Overall, my favourite genres to play at gigs are anything with groove or swing. Blues, R&B, Soul, Roots, America, Folk and Country come to mind.

Bassists that influenced me as a young player were mostly Duck Dunn, Geddy Lee, John Entwisle, Jaco Pastorius, Bootsy Collins, Marcus Miller, James Jamerson (Motown), Paul McCartney, Chris Squire, John Paul Jones, Dee Murray (Elton John), Lonnie Turner (Steve Miller Band), Walter Becker and Chuck Rainey (Steely Dan) Sting, Mark King (level 42), Barney Rubble, (Stones)
