Hey, I'm Kira!
I'm an experienced singer looking to join or form a rock/metal band (covers or original!)
I have experience with booked gigs ranging from small TV spots to 2-3 hour sets as a singer accompanied by an acoustic guitarist. I have been singing for more years than I can count, and was doing music seriously for about 3 years before the pandemic hit. During that time, I realized how much I missed performing and wanted to get back to it. See some of my previous experience below.
As "The Lazy Daisies," an acoustic folk/cover duo:
- Regular appearances at Clarenville's Farm and Market (2017-2018)
- Gander Day MusicFest (2018)
- 2nd Anniversary @ Port Rexton Brewery as provided entertainment (2018)
- Opening act for Quickdraw at Clarenville's Canada Day event in 2018
- Trinity Festival as evening entertainment (2018)
As solo:

At this point in my music career, I'd really love to pursue music that I actively listen to. While I enjoyed playing folk covers and mellow classic rock jams, I'd love to be involved in metal/rock projects, particularly melodic, power metal, 80s-inspired vibes. Big fan of high fantasy-inspired work like concept albums, etc.
