Franks long history of the love of the drums started when his Dad bought him his first kit at the age of 9. Together with his older cousin who played guitar; he had his first professional gig by the age of 10. Being proficient in sight reading music At 11 Frank studied under Vancouver master drummer Larry Olsen. Olsen placed Frank in the Beefeaters marching band and would play at the home games for the BC Lions football team.

Frank’s first commercial success was at the age of 14 recording an album and having a single released, which was put into full rotation on Much Music. Frank continued to practice and studied at the Vancouver Community College (VCC) Jazz program and continued on to progressive rock, jazz fusion bands. He had great success at the Vancouver Demo listen competition, he continued to achieve success locally, nationally, and internationally headlining in Japan. Upon his return from Japan he started to log studios time and record with renowned Vancouver producer Rolf Henneman.

Frank appeared on the Disney Channels successful series “So Weird” the first and only PG rated Disney show, staring as “Phoenix” a supporting role to Mackenzie Phillips as the drummer of her band.

Frank continued to record and tour with an impressive list of Canadian talent. While on tour with the “Legends of Rock” tour, Frank had a chance encounter with Lindsey Mitchell from Capital records recording artist “Prism”. Frank was asked to join them on tour. He was part of their roster for 3 years until he moved to Canada’s widely Toured band “Trooper”. During his time with Trooper Frank would see success in playing some of North America’s largest venues playing to crowds of more than 50,000 people and playing in over 300 different venues. Frank recorded a live CD with Trooper at the Q Studios session in Calgary.

Frank continues to session drum with a wide range of artists and has gained invaluable experience with diverse music styles. The fall 2009 and early 2010 Frank has select Canadian and US dates with Nick Gilder Billboards #1 hit recording artist and North American & European Dates with Kaveh Yaghmaei international pop star.
