While in his teens Federico received lessons from Martino Roggio a well known music teacher within his commuity, by17 Federico started playing within a local group named 'Big Mama'. With this group Federico was given the opportunity to participate and play in many festivals, concerts and local clubs throughout Sardinia.
In 2008 Federico attended "Percento Musica" in Rome where he studied under masters Luca Nostro, Alex Massari, Stefano Micarelli, Andrea Avena. Having the opportunity to attend this school gave Federico invaluable training in theory, guitar technique, harmony as well as the ability to attend several diverse music seminars.
In the same year Federico was recruited by "Gente Nuova". With this agency Federico was able to go on tour throughout Sardinia with several diverse musical groups.
Some of Federico's current groups include: Elfo's Soul a funk style band and The Bad Sweeties which offers a variaty of top40's and mixes up the oldies.
Federico also performs and collaborates on a regular basis with 
Alessandro Usai a guitarist from Milan well known within the Italian community for playing with: Franco Cerri, Sugar Blue Band, Darryl Jones
and Melvia Chock Rodgers; Mariangela Demurtas lead singer of the metal band 'Band Tristania';Francesco Piu known for playing with Tommy Emmanuel, Eric Bibb, Roy Rogers and Guy Davis; Jack Evans known for playing with Steve Gibbons, Ilenia Romano known throughout Sardinia and many more.
