-just want to put it out there that for the time being I'm as busy as I want/need to be with all of this (various sporadic projects on the go)... thanks for your interest... however I don't want to waste anyone's time. -thanks again. Ed
I've been playing in bands forever it seems... bars, weddings, corporate, and concert performances (soft-seat theatre venues and stadium/festival events).
I'm looking into this more for fun than anything, and I don't want to play out often -once per month would be enough for me. ( I have a steady day gig) I'm also looking (if possible) to avoid bars... the pay hasn't changed for the last 40 yrs, and I'm not crazy about getting to bed at 4am anymore. I would love to get together with some like-minded people... playing events, weddings, corporate stuff -and the odd bar now and then.
I take my playing seriously, but I'm not into playing with people that take it "too" seriously. I don't have an ego about any of this. Playing music is something that I've enjoyed for a long time, and it's my outlet from everyday life... I don't want anything to taint that in any way.
I would be into playing electric lead/rhythm guitar, acoustic rhythm guitar, or bass -along with lead vocals (for some songs) or backing vocals.
