Do you have a gig coming up and need a drummer? Is your regular drummer not able to play your next gig? Call me! I'm a seasoned professional with a positive attitude, I know how to groove and I have very solid time. Very comfortable playing with a click and have an ear for most styles of music. I've been playing drums for 38 years in all kinds of different bands and musical situations. I love music and already know hundreds of popular songs in many genres, and can learn your material very quickly. Because I grew up playing drums in church, I even know how to play with dynamics and more importantly know how to control my stage volume and play quietly if required. How many drummers do you know who can do that? I have been in successful cover bands for many years playing corporate and wedding gigs. I also teach drum lessons at New West Music Academy. And yes, I still volunteer as a drummer at church!
By day, I'm a working IT professional, so I'm looking for fill-in opportunities with weekend gigging bands, or to do recording session work. For me its just about playing with great musicians interested in making great music and having fun. Making a little money can be nice too.

EQUIPMENT
I take pride in my sound. Currently I own two pro-quality drum kits, lots of snare drums & cymbals, a Roland SPD-SX Pro, drum microphones & cables, and even my own in-ear monitor setup. I have great gear and can adapt to any musical situation.
