ABOUT

Interested in a variety of possible situations, Basically anything from jamming for fun to teaching to full-time touring with established acts or artists.

Most important is playing with good musicians and enjoying the situation regardless the project.

I’ve been playing for many years. No ego here - learning my instrument and striving to improve is a lifetime activity. I’ve studied with several great teachers across Canada since my teens.

I’m currently studying with Peter Erskine (Weather Report, Steely Dan, etc) …via video exchange & online lessons.

Last but not least, I’m not necessarily looking for a paying gig, but happy to rehearse, gig and/or record as much as possible.

Having played the clubs for many years, I’m less inclined to be into playing the usual small circuit rock bars in and around Halifax.

No snobbery intended - just have done that so many times. Much more into playing other shows (private, corporate, festivals, other clubs, hotels, casinos, etc, etc).

Have current passport. Not into drugs, alcohol, but not against what others choose for themselves in moderation during gigs, etc.

I have a very flexible day job (self employed) so I’m open to most situations, from rehearsing and home recording for fun to more serious full-time touring.

Influences

Too many influences to list. Lots of bands and artists from classic pop, AOR, classic rock, jazz, hard rock, older metal, Latin styles, etc.

I’ve toured Canada extensively. I’ve been hired in the past to play country, power pop, classic rock, hard rock, Celtic & original music. Have played small pubs to large international festivals. It’s ALL good!
