Singer/Songwriter, musician Filmmaker, modern dancer, actor & teacher, Donald Morin’s lineage is of the Gros Ventre, Cree, Saulteaux, Ojibwa and French genealogy. He currently resides in Treaty 6 territory of Edmonton, Alberta. Donald is on leave from his final semesters at Concordia University. He was studying Directing, Digital Filmmaking, Drama, and English studies and Religion. Donald had a great experience sharing his music and digital media to The America’s Top Hitmaker Competition ending in the quarter finals at fifth position. A great achievement for a now grand father and senior interdisciplinary artist. Donald performed his music May 31-25 for Tee Pee Treats Giving Back To The Streets in Edmonton for Curtis Cardinal community work. Fall 2024, Mr. Morin was interviewed for Truth Before Reconciliation podcast avec Consultant Tammy Wolfe. The Truth About The 60's Scoop was an insightful interview pertaining to Donald’s Sixty Scoop years and realizing ones potential in life. Donald finished work June 2024 with A documentary in Yellowknife on Preserving the Dene Language. Work produced and directed by Vancouver Filmmaker Arlene Bowman. He as well completed a stage reading ensemble reading of Ryan Cunningham’s new play on WWI Veteran late Francis Pegahmagabow in Edmonton. Winter Spring 2023 he was in Everyman, a music consultant, actor and performed guitar for music in the play. Performing Artist Donald Morin’s music’s been trending since March 11,

Mr. Morin won the Akademia 2021 Rising Star Award; bestowed upon those artists whose talent and perseverance in the field of music.
