ABOUT

DEJA BREW is a small coffee shop in Cochrane, Alberta. We're a live music venue suitable for single musicians/ singers playing music without a PA. We're interested in musicians using traditional instruments. The DEJA soundtrack is eclectic, our shop playlist includes songs from many time periods and from a range of countries.

In terms of hosting live music so far we have enjoyed light folk music, Celtic & Spanish music, classical music. Anything light and easy is good for our small venue (less than 1000 square feet). We currently book musicians for weekend afternoons, we like to see videos online of potential acts. We pay a small fee to performers. We hope that playing at our venue will give musicians increased exposure and a chance to experiment. DEJA is locally owned and offers fair-trade organic coffee & tea, but also beers, wine & spirits plus sandwiches, light lunches, soup and fresh in-house baked goods.
