Influences
I have played drums since the age of nine. I studied with the one and only Al Bleue (big band jazz/Queensway Music Centre), Paul Delong (Domenic Troiano, Kim Mitchell) and Bryan Humphreys (Jeff Healey, Tony Springer, Soul Foundation).
These days I play mostly rock and pop (power pop, punk/post punk) but I am also interested in new projects of any style (rock, funk, blues, electronic, jazz-ish). Ultimately, I would love to put together a Chess/Stax/Motown era blues/soul review project. I still love doing the cover band gigs playing three sets a night so if you need a sub I am available for that as well. A buddy of mine calls me the "human jukebox"... I like the sound of that.
