ABOUT

Hello to all people or musicians reading this. My name is David Cho i live in a small town in a place called Guildford which is in the city of surrey in the Metro Vancouver area. I have been passionate about music since I have heard my first memorable soundtrack the Rocky 4 soundtrack Original Soundtrack when I was 2 years old. Not knowing anything about life and what dreams and goals to achieve. The song burning heart stuck in my mind since. 1997 although the movie came out in 1985. I was only 2 years old and was born in 1995 I have my own youtube channel check it out
It is DCR123 Music just type that in the search bar on Youtube. I was also looking for some studio play as well and now that I am much older in my early 30s I have always wanted to purse a passion in something I believe in.

Influences

My main influences in music is Metallica when i discovered the song
Fade to Black by Metallica in 2009 and discovered that Metallica doesn't only compose heavy metal but their ballads really struck me to the point I wanted to start picking up a guitar. I have pretty much listened to Metallica's ballads like Fade to Black, Nothing Else Matters, The Unforgiven, and all their trilogies as well as some Skid Row ballads like 18 and Life on their debut album self titled Skid row. My other severe influences are Slash from Guns n Roses, Duff McKegan on bass. I have many other influences that used to be thrash metal but ever since my born again christian experience I have also written some gospel piece for a church that has never been released yet. Im mostly into playing guitar to 1980s retro glam rock such as motley crue but last but not least the original soundtracks to scarface rocky 4 and terminator 1 and 2 I find Vince Dicola to be very appealing as well such as Koji Kondo the composer for videogames like Mario and Zelda for Nintendo. I think by far the best sound track from video game is the arcade and NES version that Konami has made in the 1980s.
