In this day and age, DAYVID is one of the few bands that present themselves with the sole purpose of making music that speaks to your heart and soul. DAYVID is a band that remembers the recipe for real music; a mix of Rock, Soul and Reggae takes center stage, overlapped by lyrics that relate to love, life, and a whole lotta fun. On lead vocals Franklin Burke brings you into his energetic world. Franklin not only brings you lyrics that are sure to make you groove but his soulful sultry voice will take you into a world of melodic melody and rhythmic rhyme. With many years performing live and in studios across North America, fellow band member, Randy Starr (Lead Guitar/Vocals) will definitely rock you out of your chair when you hear his awesome rhythm on the strings. Jeff Berg has been percussively persuading audiences for nearly two decades, continuing all the way through the York University Music Program. Straight up rock n’ roll to Indian beats and everything in between, you’ll be sure to be dancing the night away. Gerald Ramal a.k.a. Bassy bubbles his way through all grooves adding his specific style to each number. Rory Hochman’s classic rock & folk backgrounds (Acoustic Guitar/Vocals/Harmonica) round out the quintet, melding it all to give you that little extra touch of funk!!!. Together they collaborate to form a unique and powerful sound that will keep you coming back for more!! If you haven't seen a live show, you are definitely missing out on a party. DAYVID is all about audience participation, from the bumping groove of "Her Eyes" to the wind down of "Sounds of Life", this band will be sure to take you on a journey, ending the night with "A Punky Reggae Party" to make you feel alright.
