i am a professional singer/songwriter and guitarist who has been performing, touring and recording since 1963. i taught my spouse to sing harmony with me, and we have a bassist who also sings harmony. our repertoire consists of originals and select covers - we don't play everyone's favourite songs. we are in our 70s. we prefer afternoon or very early evening shows, locally (we live in newcastle). we don't play often, but we do sing every day. we are looking mainly for a percussionist or electronic drummer and one other rhythm instrument - ideally lap steel or dobro, but could be keys, acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo etc. this probably won't require a lot of your time, so if you're already a busy player who needs something different to fill a gap, this could work for you. this is, i think, an ideal gig for older pros who just want to enjoy playing music with as little stress and drama as possible.
