Not sure if I'm the only musician that wants to play this stuff or not but let's give it a shot. Looking for other musicians (drums, bass, vocalist, ?) to get together and play respectable and respectful versions of songs by power trios and quartets, as well as arena rock bands...Nirvana, Triumph, SRV, Hendrix, Metallica, Alice in Chains, The Killers, Kings of Leon, April Wine, 3 Days Grace, etc.
Probably not marketable to venues in Central Ontario so I think we would have to be content with the basement or garage. I have other bands that gig regularly and possibly you have that too.
I am a mature pro-level guitarist with good harmony vocals and adequate lead vocals for some tunes. I am good covering a few James Hetfield tunes, some Kurt Cobain, some Jerry Cantrell. 3 Days Grace has awesome vocals but I cannot do them justice although the guitar stuff is reasonably easy.
