Started 'hitting' congas, bongos as a teen - in my late 20s I learned the hard way I had sh*t technique and rebuilt from the ground up. I now actually play them. I continue to work on better technique and the core Son and Rumba stuff and a few other non Cuban LP ... I most enjoy playing Mozambique, shuffle Tumbao & Martillo [bongos].
