ABOUT

I'm a bassist/singer/sogwriter based out of Hamilton, ON. I've been playing in bands in and around Hamilton for the last ten years, and I've gotten to the point where I would like to start something new, based around some new material that I've written, as well as some obscure, interesting covers. I come from a rock/funk/jamband background. With this project I would like to keep those elements, but make things more progressive and add the element of traditional Celtic music (I don't want to be too Celtic, but I have written some music that incorporates some Celtic structures and melodies, and I would like to cover some specific songs from this style of music). Basically what I want is a rock band full of people with whom I have not previously worked, who are open minded, willing to work hard and try new things. Also, certain level of technical skill is required (you must be able to jam/improvise/solo on your instrument and commit some complicated songs to memory). I want to take time to really develop the sound and learn the material before we play any shows, but I have lots of connections for the southern Ontario area and can get us gigs no problem when the time comes.
