Just a dude looking to connect with like minded folks and play something sincerely and with devotion. Looking to play with a reasonable level of commitment and would like people with at least a moderate grasp of their instrument. Looking to play the classics of whatever genre we play and also do it with a reasonable level of professionalism.

Influences
Classical: Bach, Beethoven, Handel, Dvorak, Debussy, Correlli, Bruckner, Respighi, Allegri, etc. There's a lot to like and a lot to explore.
Metal: A lot of traditional metal lately. Iron Maiden, Angel Witch, Manilla Road, Savatage, Running Wild, Argus, Doomsword, Candlemass, Iced Earth, Stratovarius, etc. Though I also like some heavier death/black material here and there (usually more melodic stuff), such as Summoning or Caladan Brood that employ heavy synths and have folky melodies and great atmosphere. Some progressive stuff too like Fates Warning.
Folk: Planxty, Vasen, Dubliners, random assortment of world folk music. I'm not well versed in it, but would love to play some Irish folk or whatever folk music from whichever tradition.
Tribute/Rock: Black Sabbath. Mostly. Anything like Black Sabbath would do as well. Or something upbeat, yet with plenty of hard rock like Anathema's We're Here Because We're Here.
