I'm a drummer with a deep passion for music - all music - but my greatest preferences are in funk, jazz and rock, however, I'm open to all good music. I grew up listening to everything, but my grestest influences were bands like Tower of Power, The Doobie Brothers, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Brubeck and Bill Evans - so many great jazz artists - most great rock bands of which, like jazz and funk, there are so many. I've recently started playing again about 4 years ago and I'm finally beginning to feel like my chops are at a point where I'm ready to play for real again. I love music. I'm dedicated, and I'm looking to play with people who are as passionately dedicated and passionate as I'am.

My list of influences are too many to list and vary enormously, but if I had to choose those drummers having had the greatest influence on me, they would include: Tony Williams, Buddy Rich, Joe Morello, Jimmy Cobb, Adam Deitch, Stanton Moore, Vernell Fournier, Russel Baptiste, Neil Peart, John Bonham, and Bill Bruford - to name but a few. As of the last decade, I've been especially influenced by great New Orleans drummers like Johnny Vidocavich and Stanton Moore. Amongst my favorite artists, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Zeppelin
