I'm Cory,
I've been playing, writing and singing since I was 14 now 32. I love pretty much all genres of music, but I tend to fall into the acoustic, rock, hard rock, and a little alternative. But I grew up with all types of music so my playing varies. I got a mother who listened to classical, Latin, opera, and European music, my dad was in to everything 50s, 60s, 70s, but his favorite artist were van morrison, Joe cooker, Janis Joplin, zeppelin, same cook, Dylan, Louie Armstrong, and anything blues, and 2 older brothers mix of classic rock, hard rock and punk. Spanning 60's to 2015. G'N'R, METALLICA, GREEN DAY, RISE AGAINST, ZEPPELIN, THE OFFSPRING, AGAINST ME and alot more were alot of the main ones.
I play electric guitar, acoustic, hand drums, and drums. And an amateur mix of everything else.
I've done a few open mic nights in the past, took a break from music and jamming with friends once adult hood kicked in, and reignited my passion when an old friend asked me to join his Jam band to play guitar and lead vocalist, in hope's to start sounding tight enough to do a few shows, than covid happend.
Anyways I'm looking for a jam partner or people a little closer to me in the SE , to jam with a little more than what I'm currently doing with the band I'm in now. I'd also be into zoom jams just something to have some fun, learn something new, keep practicing and maybe even collaborate. I enjoy writing music,covering it, or just playing to push and practice.
