ABOUT

From the time I was a child, singing was never something I learned — it was something that naturally lived inside me. I spent my early years mimicking vocals across every genre imaginable, from Opera to gangster rap, fascinated by the emotion, tone, and individuality behind every voice. My mother quickly recognized not only my passion, but my rare ability to match pitch perfectly and effortlessly reach notes beyond what most children could.
At the same time, I thrived in front of people. I was the kid who volunteered for public speaking, who naturally stepped into leadership roles in group settings, and who genuinely loved performing. Attention never intimidated me — it energized me. Whether on stage, in class, or in a crowd, I found confidence and connection through using my voice.
By the age of 12, I had already entered and won multiple singing competitions, building a reputation for both technical vocal ability and commanding performances. One of the defining moments of my early journey came during my audition for Canadian Idol, where I was praised for my pitch-perfect vocals but told I sounded “too commercial.” While disappointing at the time, that experience became a turning point creatively. From that moment forward, I became determined not just to sing well, but to bring originality and artistic identity into everything I performed.
My relationship with music has always been deeper than talent alone. Singing has been my way of expressing emotion, connecting with people, and constantly evolving creatively. Over the years, I’ve continued to explore different styles, experiment with unique approaches, and push myself to stand out rather than simply fit in. What has remained constant is my pure love for singing — a passion that has shaped who I am from childhood to today.

Influences

My musical influences have always been deeply rooted in British culture and sound. From the timeless songwriting and melodic genius of The Beatles to the raw energy and lyrical intensity of UK Grime, I’ve always been drawn to the originality, attitude, and emotional honesty that British music carries across every generation.
What fascinates me most is the range within British music itself — the ability to balance sophistication with rebellion, melody with grit, and tradition with fearless experimentation. I grew up absorbing everything from classic British rock and alternative music to underground UK rap and Grime artists whose flow, storytelling, and cadence completely reshaped modern music culture. That influence helped shape not only my ear for music, but also my approach to creativity and performance.
British music taught me the importance of individuality. Whether it was the innovation and cultural impact of bands like The Beatles or the unapologetic authenticity found in UK Grime, I became inspired by artists who weren’t afraid to sound different, challenge expectations, and create their own identity. That mindset heavily influenced my own artistic development and pushed me to always add a creative edge to my voice, style, and performances.
The combination of classic British musicality and modern UK urban influence gave me a unique appreciation for both technical artistry and raw expression. It’s a blend that continues to inspire how I write, perform, and connect with music today.
