ABOUT

Clear Burgundy is looking for a guitarist to write and perform together. We’re an original art rock band with latin undertones. Singing or playing other instruments is a plus.

We’re building the band as a collaborative creative partnership. Everyone gets a say, and we share in the work and gains.
This project was born from a desire to make music with meaning and intention; to make a difference out there.

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate and committed to the music, responsive and a clear communicator. Creative freedom is encouraged. Must have general knowledge of music theory.

We usually meet once a week between friday and sunday evening. We either do writing sessions at one of ours or we rent space once we have parts ready for rehearsal.

We have 5 songs done, I got another 8 ready to present, and a handful of partials in the works. I’m hoping we get the band together first to really flesh out songs as a group, but I'm continuing to work on songs to keep things moving.

My initial plan is to start booking gigs in the next couple months and start playing around september-october, get some good quality gig AV material, start sending applications in the fall for small festivals next year, and ideally do some recording in the winter. I also want to look into getting grant funding. This is a starting point, but we can always pivot depending on the band’s priorities and what life throws.
