Bass Guitar, Drums, Piano, Harmonica, Banjo, Dobro, Steel guitar, Upright bass.

I'm a long time casual player with a bit of live experience beginning to establish myself professionally. I have a project on the go that will eventually need a percussionist and a bassist for live gigs. In the meantime production is the name of the game. claytonsalkeld@gee mail dot com

Roots! My early days of music was either my father's classic rock n roll and blues, or my own tangents in to pop punk, indie rock, R&B, and hardcore. However roots has always remained and this is where I find myself most passionate. The Tallest Man on Earth and The Decemberists were some of the first folk artists that I enjoyed and that's since flourished in to all kinds of bands and artists across the board. Young and old. I have two demos on soundcloud that are linked to bandmix. These are old songs and only to a degree do they represent what I'm writing now. Their simply produced and since then my sound has rounded out a little more, not so ethereal emotional folk, more so ethereal emotional storytellin' country/folk/smattering of blues and classic rock. Vague. Yes. More examples to come as demos have been laid down and are being put together. Right now, however, its about writing, producing, and soon rehearsing as I pull together a few people. In the meantime I'm here to see what musicians in Calgary are up to!
