Band to Join.ABOUT
I'm a first year Engineering student at Mun and since I'm only taking two courses this summer I wouldn't mind joining a band. I have a tonne of fun playing drums and I'm told I'm not too bad at it either. I played in several school jazz bands from grade seven until I graduated and am comfortable in many time signatures and genres. I would really like to play in a band that creates more complex songs like Hey Rosetta, although I also just like to kick back and have fun like the Chili Peppers. Reggae influences creep their way into my mostly funk/jazz playing style.
Until moving to St. John's for school I would try to get in at least an hour of playing in a day, regularly playing for four hours in a go.

EQUIPMENT
Unfortunately my full drumset is in Nova Scotia and I only have a Dejambe at the moment. I'm trying to find a job and once I do I plan on purchasing an electronic drumset (I would prefer an acoustic set although it is not practical because I live in an apartment).
