ABOUT

This Is Love is a socially aware, collaborative band based in Ontario. Our music is a mix of Soft Rock, Folk, Pop, and Indie, with a focus on original songwriting and positive "Simple Acts of Kindness" lyrics. We have a catalog of over 14 original songs and 40+ lyrical works in progress. We are a community-focused group that records and performs to benefit various charities, including Kids Help Phone, Autism Ontario, and the Walk to End ALS. Our culture is highly supportive, and we treat our music as a regular personal passion where every member’s input is valued.

Our sound is a blend of Folk, Soft Rock, Pop, and Indie (with a slight hint of country at times). We are primarily influenced by storytelling and roots-based music that prioritizes melody and meaningful lyrics over commercial polish.

Members Of Band

Currently includes Acoustic Guitar/Vocals, 12-String Guitar, Bass, Lead Guitar and Drums. (We are actively seeking Keyboard/Piano).

EQUIPMENT

We have a highly equipped recording studio located in Acton (Halton Hills) equipped with all necessary gear for rehearsing, recording, mixing, and mastering. There is no cost for the use to band members.
