Hi! My one of my best friends (who’s one hell of a drummer) and I (vocalist, composer and fairly decent rudementary acoustic guitarist when needed) have been trying to put together a group of people to compose music, Jam, and see how it goes and if we’d like to commit to recording.
We usually lean towards all variety of rock, folk, and the both the classic era and modern wave of punk, but are honestly willing to work within any number of genres and would rather play it by ear before committing to just one, if we ever even do haha. We love meeting new people, and are open to any number of musicians/instruments, as experimentation is rad and if we vibe with you would honestly love for you to join us regardless! The literal only criteria is that you’re willing to communicate, can give occasional feedback maybe, and are a nice person.
Getting in touch with a bassist and guitarist are our main goals of this site, but like I said, we’re open to all sounds, styles of playing and levels of experience as long as you can keep tempo (or at least try to haha, even if you don’t have a lot of experience we’d love to have you to bounce ideas off of and play at a level you’re comfy with!)
Also, lastly our motivation here isn’t and shouldn’t fame, fortune, a recording contract or a sold out tour, as the one kind of shared musical ethic between the two of us currently in the band, is that as amazing as those things would be, and as much as we should work towards them with the right lineup, the most important thing is making music people can enjoy, be touched in some way, and we can be truly proud of, no matter how few people or many people hear it.
