Cathartik embrace the fist-raising riffs of Classic-era Rock, the white-hot burn of Progressive and raw intensity of Hard Rock creating a poignancy and sincerity that today's musical landscape so desperately chases.
Cathartik's sound was honed in the prairies, opening for top local acts in Calgary and Edmonton. Before long they were headlining the biggest clubs in Alberta and enlightening hundreds strong at such venues as The Back Alley (Calgary) and Reds (Edmonton).
The journey is far from over.
Poised for success in 2008 with a new lineup and a brand-new EP in the works, Cathartik plan to bring North America and their growing international fanbase along for the ride.
