Build It To Break It is a progressive-rock quintet (potentially) that have been playing together for several years. We are currently looking for a bass player to round us out. We have lead guitar, drums, keys, vocals and rhythm guitar on lockdown. We're a very tight, very well-organized group of people interested in finding someone who is dedicated, hard-working and open to experimenting. Everything is jammed out, and we keep the music very organic. One jam session can change a song permanently if it works, and we're all very open-minded about where music can go, but we expect the same open-mindedness and comfort with criticism that we have.

Influences
We have influences in almost all genres, from metal and hardcore right to blues and funk and everywhere in between. We prefer to call ourselves progressive rock, since none of our peers or fans can seem to come up with a genre to style us with. Our primary influences band-wise are Pink Floyd, Tool, Incubus, and 90's grunge bands like Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.
