I am the writer and producer of Boomer, a docu-musical that uses live music, live action and rare video footage to tell the story of the Boomer generation and how it shaped the modern world. We are looking for musicians to fill out the band.
The core band consists of two guitar players, a drummer, bass and a keyboard player. We use multiple singers/tribute artists each night to cover the vocals. We play about ten songs a night. To become a member of the troop you must be able to work well with others, be reliable, self reliant (travel and equipment) and be dedicated to covering your material as close to the original tracks as possible. A click track will be used in some songs. I am located in Newmarket and will provide a safe place to set up, store gear and rehearse. Preference will be given to local musicians. Strong backing vocals are also a big plus as is the ability to play multiple instruments.
