I've been playing guitar self taught for about 6 years now, been playing at some open jams and really been enjoying learning to improvise and play with others. Picked up the drums about a year ago and loved them immediately, picking them up very fast.
I like almost all music that's well done, favourite genres are mainly jazz, alt rock and metal.
Haven't gigged before, looking to join first band and hopefully start playing gigs soon. Played with people one-on-one, and at open jams before. Last year has been the year where I've started taking music more seriously, so been grinding to get my theory up to speed.
